My absolute favorite game ever is chess.

Who else holds the love for this game?

Its really the only board game I play. Everything else is so pale in comparison.... in my opinion.

Anybody here good at the game?

Chess teaches " foresight, by having to plan ahead ... vigilence, by having to keep watch over the whole chess board ... caution, by having to restrain ourselves from making hasty moves ... and finally, we learn from chess the greatest maxim in life, that even when everything seems to be going badly for us we should not lose heart, but always hoping for a change for the better, steadfastly continue searching for the solutions to our problems."

I play it when I get a chance, but sometimes it takes too long, and
a lot of people don't know how to play. I played a whole bunch of
chess when I was in Bali, Indonesia. I played it with my sisters at
the hotel. I won every time :D.

    ;)

about 4 years. I haven't played that much though. I HATE time
chess. I like to think my moves through. I take a long time. That
contributes to me winning though :D.

    same here.

im not much of a time player. id like to be but man... ive got to really think.

im trying to think more circular as oppose to linear when playing chess.

thinking 3 moves forward in every which way is essential.
