Just more examples of the hubris of the current administration.
Oh, Mr. Witt. With every post you make, you confirm that you have no grasp of the issues you post on, don't read the accompanying articles and only come here to post your ideology. Sad.
From the first paragraph:
Mr. Witt, who was president in 2007?
Bathroom renovations are expensive.
It's from the Bush era.
The biggest myth in politics is that there's a huge difference between the two parties. They are both wasteful with our money.
Good that you posed that question, I believe that it was none other than your very OWN . George W Bush.
[snigger]Read the article-it happened under the Bush administration[/snigger]
Actually that calls into question, why is this news being reported now? I think the investigation was completed in 2009.
edit: I see.. its a trap!
Ouch proven it is from the spending hawk GOP that spent that money.....
Yes both are wasteful but this is yet another example of the GOP blowing money. Sorry but 10-15k should of been the most spent there.
Go back to writing witt.
You didn't read the article did you? Or is it hubris that the current administration looked into things done by the previous one, how horrible that they would try to figure out why so much money was wasted on something like this.
But I'd assume you'll be happy about this that the current administration is doing...
Nah, "more oversight"? That's Big Government for ya!
Even that's generous.
Talk about a bear trap snapping.
What does that mean?
Witt sniffed around and jumped in.
Like an Ewok trapping a Wookie.
If you don't spend enough money on the bathroom it'll be crap, or it'll leak and damage the building, neither of which are good.
We shouldn't be putting our top elected officials up in crap accommodation.
That said $225k is a ridiculous amount to spend on a bathroom.
With anything in a house, an extra thing on the list to do is another hundred grand or so.
I think his username is his first initial + last name (Hewitt). I don't find him witty at all.
