The iPhone's broken connections

    Actually a pretty balanced article, despite the negative spin headline slapped on by the editors -- can't fall short on their monthyl Bash-The-iPhone quota, can they? "In more than 25 years of covering the IT industry, I can't think of a new product that seemed so complete so soon after launch" is pretty high praise IMO, and Apple absolutely had to achieve this level of accomplishment with iPhone Rev 1 to build a base of credibility in this market.

    I guess their point could be valid that the "iPhone frenzy" has mostly dissipated, probably because unlike almost all other Apple product launches, there were a good six months of hype before the thing hit store shelves. We've also reached the point where it's not such a rare thing to see someone around town using an iPhone.

    Ha.. That's funny I thought their article was a compete waste.
