    This of course is wrong, the actual number is 6 million plus, and 2 million in the last quater, so he was almost right, he just needed to add the 2, to the 4.4.

    Sony sold 20 or 25 million Walkmans IIRC, so I think that in a year or two at least that many iPods will have been sold.

    reminds me of the automotive economy... how lots of smaller companies are along for the ride.

    There was an article somewhere too about how these ipod suppliers are vulnerable if Apple goes to other vendors...
