Some news organizations are saying that pentagon investigators suspect the Iranians of pulling off the attack themselves. I've suspected that the U.S. has been indirectly fighting Iran all along.

Even if it's true, based on the tactics that have been used by the administration in the past, no one's going to believe them. They've already reached their conclusions, making their plans, forming the evidence around it. Iran may very well be a threat, but we don't have the resources, nor the support, nor the evidence to do anything about it.

    Thanks again GW!

    Edit: Plus, not so much.

I read that. Having Iraqi Generals involved just sort of waters the whole thing down. I'm hoping it turns out that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard did the whole thing by themselves. That way, things will get interesting real quick.

The Gulf idiots welcomed the US in and the Iranians are the ones that benefited from such idiocy. Way to go Gulf countries and way to go USA. So much for peace in the ME.

By that same logic, would you say the Palestinians have been indirectly fighting the US all along?

And would they have the right to respond as we have with Iran?

Agreed. They've exactly zero credibility as far as I'm concerned. For all we know, this could be an entirely fabricated claim.

Redeploy the troops and let them fight wars , putting them in the middle of this society is a waste of time, money and american lives. Its been said there are like 4 wars going on in Iraq thanks to us taking down Saddam. Putting a soldier in the middle of this is insane and is asking them to do the impossible.

What exactly do you mean by 'interesting'?

Hopefully you're not seriously wanting the US to start a war with Iran...

If, by "interesting" you mean that you can get to sit in your armchair and watch more snuff movies of people being killed in Iran for George Bush and his imagined "place in history", you're a sad excuse for a human being.

The Iraq war is old and boring, we need a new war for the exciting news value. ;)

And a complete waste of perfectly good oxygen. ;)

Why are you unwilling to answer it? Do you not understand what I am asking?
