    HMMM what are you trying to say.."unbranded models" (beige boxes) are better than the "current model"?! (<----INTEROBANG)

    Lol... Yeah...thats almost as extreme as the people on here ahah..

    I think it's an interesting view on society's attitude toward fashions and crazes rather than aiming toward the mac community?

    Very amusing and says a lot about our consumer based society. But who would be happy with a ZX81 oc C64

    I think there's a big difference between using the "oldest" model, and *needing* the latest one. There a plenty of perfectly fine models in between :)

    Yeah the fat pie website as a whole is great. David Firth has done some great stuff, although some is pretty disturbing! Let that be a warning!;)

    and I think that is a very close-minded response.

    Anyways, its funny... definately says a lot about marketing towards youth and the need for young people to try and be cool and having the next "big thing".

    it was humourous:)
    interestingly I believe this can be applied to many fads... like the iPod and how everyone must have one, or at least a clone
