glass isnt a distraction! we need to see the window underneith when we are working on the one above

gadgets = i dont know one person who uses a pc and likes lots of open programs, so m$ has made it a feature ;/

unix? is someone having a joke.

six different versions, can we have a 7th with just games enabled

thankyou apple and if anyone disagrees about vista, please dont reply unless your using windows 98

Ya, it's a little confusing to decipher what point you're wanting to make or what question you're actually asking. Come again?

If you'd enjoy a Vista-like experience on Mac OS X, I'd suggest you use 10.0 or the Public Beta. Set that clock appropriately!

Haha, that is the first time I've heard that one. More like, "is someone having one too many beers?"

I think he's saying that the Apple Menu (i.e. the menu that pulls down when you push the blue apple in the upper left hand corner) will become similar to the Start Menu in Windows when Leopard comes out.

Of course, he's probably completely off base - but that's what I think he's trying to say...

I'll take a crack at this.

Translation: I think the apple menu will be more like the start menu in Leopard. You can believe me or not.

Translation: Vista will have a few things that I can't ignore.

Translation: The number of actual windows when using the 3D window management system shown in the link is unclear. I will continue to use the task bar instead of this 3D feature.

Translation: I think the transparent edges of the windows is a useful feature despite what most people think. I don't think it is a distraction, but think it help you see useful information below.

Note: This may be a sarcastic statement.

Translation: I don't want a bunch of open programs running all the time. I don't see the dashboard like feature in vista being used much, and don't understand why MS would make something people don't like.

Translation: Vista is going to be a unix variant? I don't think so.

Note: I have no idea where this came from.

Translation: Why does MS make so many versions of Windows? I would like one that only plays games please!

Translation: Thank you apple for making leopard, so I don't have to deal with Windows anymore. I only want replies from people who are using very outdated systems like me and understand how frustrating it is.

That's what I got out of it. Strangest post I've seen in a while.
