I've never seen this movie, and although this video probably takes the scenes out of context a bit, I can't imagine anything funnier than Nic Cage in a drama, dressed in a bear suit, and beating up some little Amish girls. :p

One of the greatest films made. Real suspense. Not sure about this crap re-make/hash though :(

Watch it with Edward Woodward for some scary atmosphere.

I was about to say, don't remember Nic Cage being in The Wicker Man. Didn't know they'd remade it.

Indeed. The original Wicker Man is a classic, the Nick Cage remake... well, Nick Cage is in it... :p

You've watched it with Edward Woodward? Was that at your house or did you go to the cinema together? ;)

Hollywood ran out of imagination some time ago. It's all sequels, remakes and movies of the TV series now.

Watch out for "The Wicker Man 2 : Back From The Flames"

When I say 'with' it is true that Mr Woodward was not actually with me physically more in a transcendental state of mind 'with'. :D

I can't wait until they remake "Being John Malkovich", and get someone else to actually be John Malkovich, not just in 1st person viewpoint like they did in the movie, either.

I reckon Nick Cage would probably be up for it.

I've gotta get in on this.

I like Nick Cage, he brings me along for the ride into a movie. Great actor.

But seriously, who doesn't check to make sure their gun is loaded after being trapped all night? That pissed me off.

The Wicker man was a fantastic movie!..... IN 1973!!!

I recently rewatched the original some months back and couldnt help but think to myself "what was I thinking?".

Rented the new version but it never made it into the dvd player. returned it without watching.

That bear thing reminded me of this for some reason :)

Maybe it was filmed at lunchtime on the set
