    I wonder how many other people whose obligations were fulfilled have gotten the same letter and not sued but showed up as asked?

    This sounds like it was just a paperwork mixup. I just can't imagine that anyone who is no longer obligated to serve would just drop their lives and race to the recruiting office. Good for him for making a big stink about it though.

    At first, that's what I thought, but if that were the case, why wouldn't the Army admit its mistake and drop the pursuit of Mr. Miyasato, saving it and the Bush administration from the negative publicity?
