They finally replaced my CD 1.83!

    Today was my seventh visit to the apple store regarding problems with my CD MBP. I went in there expecting a replacement machine, and I got one! Brand new shiny 2.13 C2D! they are transfering my files tonight and I get it tomorrow. Phewwww i was beginning to really ****ing hate apple.

    yeah yay for me. Yes it was miserable, everyone that reads this, NEVER Buy a 1st gen laptop. I learned my lesson! haha. The 1 year warranty on this new one starts today, i am finally satisfied with apple.

    Wow, unlike the rest of us who suffered during the C2D wait you got a free laptop to use during the whole time. :rolleyes:

    to be honest, I would have rather had an IBM laptop instead of the POS CD during the wait. It wasn't worth the pain in the ass, I feel like I came out even

    a) LCD inverter issue whinning loud
    b) 3 battery problems (not really a machine problem)
    c) They ****ed up the casing twice after two repairs
    d) Random shut offs followed by unresponsive system for as long as an hour at a time, they had no clue wtf this was

    e)school starts next week and I was sick of dealing with this POS, soo i was determined to get it swapped. They were very nice this time around
