Indeed. I get a kick out of thinking that somewhere in America, KKKers are choking on their Ripple and thinking about how "wrong" this is. :D

    What a cool story!

Perhaps this family will encounter some extra adversity (including constantly having to explain how twins look so different), but they are a good reminder to us that race shouldn't matter.

And one more cheer for "color blind" people. :)

Happen to me and my sister(although we are not twins)....my skin is much darker than hers....she got the bright eyes and i got the long hair....it happens.

When people see my mother....they can't believe it...it makes us laugh

That's either weird in a cool way, or cool in a weird way.

I wouldn't say racist, as that sounds more negative. I think it's more prejudice. Like around here, people from India cause a lot of trouble. Stealing, murders, fights. I don't care about race or where people are from, I mean I live in England but I'm half Welsh and quarter Polish so I can't really complain, but I will always avoid walking past asian gangs and the dangerous villages. There's always a voice in my head that says I'll probably get mugged if I go through Glodwick.
I'm actually more interested in talking to foreign folk or immigrants. There's a girl on my course from Poland. She's just top, very funny, very different way of seeing the world. One of the best people I've ever met, infact.

Anyways, to the topic itself. Our family is a little like that. I mean little though. Everyone in this house has blond(e) hair and blue eyes. Except my brother, who inherited 2 of our grandparents hair and eye colour. Brown hair, brown eyes. although he was born like me and my sister; pure white hair.
It's all mad. Just genes and alleles and that having a right ol giggle.
