this is dumb...but re Acrobat...

    when i download or create a pdf file...and then double-click it to launch the Acrobat READER it launches Acrobat (not the reader). this is fine, but the READER is quicker...

    is there a way to reset the defaults so that when i double-click a pdf the READER launches and not Acrobat...

    i know i could probably reinstall...but i'm wondering if there is another way...

    in osx, right click on one of the pdf's. Select 'Show Info', from the pull-down menu select 'open with application'. Search through for acrobat reader, and then click 'change all'.

    Should work.

    not OS X...OS 9...

    just tried out voice commands...what an idiot i am...very nice stuff...jv
