I hate to rant or do anything that pisses people off, but this is torture:

My MacBook was set to deliver yesterday. Well, that was all fine and dandy, I was out of town but I'd be back early afternoon. I get home, there's a ticket on the door. I missed the truck by 19 minutes.

After some inital grumbling, I said "No big deal, I'll wait 'til tomorrow." So I wait. I start waiting at the same time as when the truck came by yesterday. This was three hours ago. I am still waiting.

Ah, expectations, they drive you insane. Something about watching out the window...checking repeatedly, makes me feel like a little kid waiting for Santa in the middle of the night. :p Anyone else care to sympathize with me?

If it's being delivered by FedEx you can just go down to the FedEx distribution area and pick it up. I'd call them and tell them you want to do that, just so it isn't loaded on the truck and you miss it again. I've personally done this before, and as long as you have proof of ID they will let you.
