Artists that caught my eye on today's new iTunes update:

4 Pixies albums, a Throwing Muses album, and the first Cocteau Twins album on iTunes. Just bands that I've liked in the past... glad to see they're on iTunes.

I'd say the Cocteau Twins are one of the more unique bands/sounds. Take a listen:

I've got Blue Bell Knoll from Cocteau Twins. It's got an 80's, eclectic feel to it.

The feel reminds me of an old radio station I used to love...that got taken over by Clear Channel a few years ago.

Something else u may want to look at is 100% - Sonic Youth. That whole album is great. ;)

    Metallica?!

I used to be an avid fan, until the napster fiasco ensued.

Wow Arn. I really like the Cocteau Twins. Might pick up their album! I have a few Talking Heads albums I want too. Anyone have any more recommendations?

All good catches - especailly Muses. Kristin Hersh's solo work is really good, as well.

Carolyns Fingers and Akai Gunea are, IMO, the best Cocteau Twins stuff out there, Heaven and Los Vegas was quite good, reminds me of college. Came out the same day as Depeche Mode's Violator (and maybe They Might Be Giant's Flood - does anyone remember?) It was an expensive day in college money.

Glad to see some the 4AD bands are getting in. Still too many missing - of course, I already have those CD's, so what does it matter?
