Thunderbolt Display overheating

Since I installed macOS Sierra the Thunderbolt Display is overheating. It's impossible to touch the screen especially the bottom edge. Of course I don't have to touch it, just trying to explain how hot it is:) Is this normal? Using it with MacBook Pro Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014.
