Hi there! I am new to this forum so if I posted this in the wrong place, feel free to move it to the right place.

I was talking to a Apple sales specialist today and they said that the only way to connect a PS4 to the Apple Thunderbolt Display is to buy a 3rd party Thunderbolt-to-HDMI adapter or cable since Apple currently doesn't have their own brand of Thunderbolt-to-HDMI adapters and the Thunderbolt Display doesn't have a HDMI input (which is needed to put the PS4 into). I'm wondering if you guys know any good 3rd party Thunderbolt-to-HDMI adapters that will connect a PS4 to the Thunderbolt Display? Because since I am planning on purchasing both, I really don't want to spend money on another TV since there is a possible way to connect the PS4 to the Thunderbolt Display.

Can't be done since the PS4 does not have a Thunderbolt out port. What you would want is a HDMI>Thunderbolt adaptor (not the other way around) and there is no such thing.

this basically. T-bolt display doesn't have an on button. The t-bolt port sends this signal to turn on.

As far as I know besides mac hardware and a handfull of pc motherboards who put this port in you aren't getting this anywhere else.

Any rigged workarounds that may exist I do not know of. But never looked for them too hard tbh...I like clean, nice, stable installs these days.
