    I hope to be around in 2029....but a 400m rock is a pebble as these things go. This is something a nuke could take out. Its the 400 km wide rocks we need to worry more about. They take us out.... :D

    Oh great, so the odds of impact could change from 1 in 300, to around 1 in 10 over a short period of time. Its not like anstronomers constantly staring at the rock are going to change the odds of impact like the above quote says.

    Meh, if it's not this rock, it'll be another rock. :)

    What would be the spin on "will it impact a blue or red state?" :p

    I would think it might be a blue state cause they always like to believe they are more welcoming!

    The blue states might think it would hit a red state - possibly a winter solstice wish.
