TNT problems in UK for tiger

Just checked my status on the TNT website and said status - please call.

called and said i need to check consignment details.
he said is this for apple, and said that i would have to call in the morning they open at 7am, and i asked if this meant that i would not recieve my package tomorrow and he said yes.

so i am setting my alarm getting up at 7am to call TNT to see whats going on,

any other UK residents getting the same problem???

this what i have, it did say YESTURDAY please call

841***** 3321***** MORETON IN MARSH 06/12/2004 Please Call

But the date was for december last year !!!!, i thought it was just glitch,

and today it says this:

841***** 80208***** SPENNYMOOR 28/04/2005 Allocated For Delivery

841***** 3321***** MORETON IN MARSH 06/12/2004 Please Call

if this helps!!, i hope it comes tomorrow!!!!

I ordered by phone last night (27th night) and TNT just updated their site and i'll get it by tomororw! (29th)!

I hope it comes. TNT are always good for me.

no probs here!

my copy is waiting in the depot, ready for delivery tomorrow! cant wait! took the day off so i wont miss the delivery guy

You guys seem to know a lot more about your shipments. When I go to TNT's website and type in my consignment number, all it says for me is "Allocated For Delivery". Am I doing something wrong?

I would take the lack as info as good news rather than bad news, can't see them adding notes if everything is going OK

My TNT tracking has been updated throughout the day - they just added an update saying it's in Alton and Allocated for Delivery (with the time stamp being 1.21am)

Looks like it should definitely get to me Friday!

update: just had a look again and the error has seen to be sorted, its now in southampton depot at 1.04am, and allocated for delivery, I hope it comes if not I will go down the depot (which is only a few miles away). I hope it comes today.

I'm thinking that it may have been delayed somewhere down the line and so may not have thought they could deliver it in time.

I know it doesn't make sense, but its all done on postcodes.

I actually live near Southampton town centre, nearly everything I order normal comes from a southampton depot.

When I got my mac mini delivered it came from alton, Thats weird, maybe its not done my postcode and probably on what they feel like. if it makes you feel better, my mac mini left at 9.00am at alton and was with me by 1.45pm, so hopefully you should get yours early afternoon.

Now - from 6.23am Tiger is at the depot, I hope they send it out today!

As of 7.07am Tiger is ready and waiting at the depot (probably for the driver to turn up I guess).

Not long now..fingers crossed I actually hear them knock on the door!

I live near the city centre too...6.23am at depot!

I hope it says out for delivery soon!!!!!

mine said at delievery depot and then allocated delivery not out for delivery like it should do, I hope it doen't mean that it will be delivered on monday!!! NOOOO!!!

I also thing that when the consignment says please call I think it means thats the package is in transport and so the status of the consignment is unknown, when it gets to the different stages its status is then updated from please call to allocated delivery.

If I had a car I would be at the depot right now!

Might call Soton depot direct and ask if i can pick it up.


Edit: Called Soton today, said it'd be with me today! yay!

Its the otherside of shirley I think. 8.1 miles away.

Cool, I hope the same applies to me, does you tracking still say allocated for delivery, these guys put parcels on there trucks late! parcel force put their parcels on at 2.00am in the morning.
