When im running Toast, beside the red burn button it says no recorders found. I have an eMac with a super drive and it has always shown up there before, any ideas?

Is the system recognizing the drive? And have you done a permissions repair recently? If so, reinstall Toast would be my only advice, Toast identifies almost every drive on the planet.

Go into your applications folder and find the folder labeled "utilities". In there will be an app called disk utility; run it and select your boot drive or partition and click "repair permissions".

This is assuming you are running OSX. If your problem with Toast is in OS9, then I just suggest reinstalling, especially if it worked before.
