    I used to have a top 10, then I got World of Warcraft! Now I have a top 1..

    #1 World of Warcraft

    <Comic Book Guy> Best game evah! </Comic Book Guy>

    If I had to choose some others I'd chuck in Call of Duty, Call of Duty: United Offensive, UT2K4, BF1942, Warcraft 3, NWN. That'll do for now!

    Ahhh now that's better, a thread for Mac only.

    If we go back to Mac SE & Mac Classic:

    * Tetris
    * Crystal Quest <---
    * Robosport <--- the first networkable game I remember playing on a Mac. It was a revelation knowing you were playing against real people. It was 4 macs in a square LAN via appletalk, and you could only "see" the mac next to you, but not the one across from you diagonally.
    * Glider (actually this goes back to Apple ][ days)
    * Risk (again multiplayer was possible)

    More recently:
    * Snood
    * Rogue Spear
    * Quake III
    * Unreal Tournament (99)

    Much more recently:
    * Call of Duty
    * Battlefield 1942
    * Unreal Tournament 2004
    * WoW

    Sorry I omitted RTS, since I don't play those much, but I guess we'd have
    *StarCraft

    i am really suprised no one mentioned these:

    Diablo I & II (including expansion packs)
    Tropico: Mucho Macho edition
    Dungeon Siege

    i use my pc for games anyway. even though i have mac versions of all the games the above games. i will probably buy doom3 for mac even though i play it on my pc. one day my mac will be fast enough to play these games !

    I was browsing through some sites and came upon this client call exult that allows you to play ultima 7 (the very old DOS game) on Mac OS X. It used to be a game which I like very much when I was very young. For those who misses those old games.

    I'll add America's Army to the list, even though updates are kind of lagging behind the PC version. Best of all, it's free!!!

    Hmm, of all time or recently?
    Of all time...

    1)Myth: The Fallen Lords
    2)Myth II: Soulblighter
    3)Warcraft III + Expansion
    4)Starcraft
    5)Warcraft II
    6)Quake 3 (Quake 3 Fortress, Urban Terror)
    7)Quake 2 (Action Quake II)
    8)Quake 1 (Team Fortress)
    9)Simcity 2000
    10)Escape Velocity

    Ya, I know my list is a bit crowded with sequels, but if I had to rate on Top 10 games of all time that'd be it. If I had to consolidate series into one title, the list would be a bit different...

    Also, for the last 6 months pretty much all I've played is Warcraft III:TFT and World of Warcraft, so that list could be different if you ask me again in a year or so (I suspect WoW will be there... I wanna give it a couple more months before deciding on a rank).
