I'm looking for a torrent based app that can perform downloads as per a timer or schedule.

(say I dont want it to down a queue'd file until 2am)

I move a lot of home-brew music/samples between myself and a friend on the other side of town and it kills my monthly data quota, so need to do everything between 2am and 10am if possible.

I'm currently using 'transmission' which doesnt allow this (that I'm aware of)

Perhaps it would be possible to 'start' the transmission app at 2am using a cron job??

taa

never used azureus, I've just installed it, and the plugin, I'll see how it goes.

it wouldnt let me set a speed schedule for 2am to 10am, so i had to create two, one for 10am - 11:59 pm (pause all downloads), and one for 12 midnight to 2am (pause all downloads)

anything outside that period should go at full speed (2am to 10am)

If it doesnt work out, I'll change it to d/l at say 1k a sec at anytime other than 2am-10am.

stupid quota's.
