If you are trading cars and want to get the Carfax report on the vehicle that you are thinking about buying, then you might want to take a look at Carfax's own app called "Every Car Listed". It is available in the app store.
You can put in the VIN number of the auto and it will give you the Carfax report on that auto. You will also have to put in your phone number and e-mail number so that the dealer can see who is interested in the vehicle, so you may receive some e-mails or phone calls. The app is free until I believe March.
It also has a calculator to see what your payments will be, and another to see how much car you can afford before you even go looking.
