I just switched from a PC to a Mac, and I was wondering if there was a way to a- transfer my old emails in outlook into Mail, and b- my bookmarks from firefox on the PC to firefox on the Mac

It costs a few bucks, but you can use O2M to export Outlook mail to your Mac.

You should also be able to export your bookmarks in your PC browser to an HTML file that you can move over to your Mac and import into your browser of choice.

any way that doesn't cost money?

Nothing that's all that reliable...it's only $10, and I've heard it works very well. You won't have to worry about losing attachments or having your messages all munged up.

Some people have tried jumping through all sorts of hoops (importing Outlook mail into Mozilla, adding .mbox to the file names and then exporting for use in Mail, etc.), but they all seem to be less than perfect.
