I want to upgrade from the Note 2 to the Note 3, though I want to make sure that all of my apps are copied over, my home screens with folders and app placement, settings, etc.

Is there a way to do this without rooting?

Thanks.

does the samsung app work better than say, helium? I'd pretty want a direct copy going from N2 to N3...

Is it even a good idea to clone everything over like this OR is it better to do a fresh install of all my apps, etc.

I'm guessing there are lots of hidden and cached files that will be copied over that I do not need?

You could always use backup pro app in the play store.

I've got to do the same with my s4 when I get my note 3.
