Im traveling this school vacation and am planning on bringig my canon gl2 with me on the plane. Also traveling with me is digital film. Is going through airport check points (scanning) cause any problems. ?film being exposed or whatnot or damage to the camera. I know very little about how cameras (digital) work.

Sorry this isnt very mac related but with the knowledge of the people here hopefully someone can help me out.

    Welcomming all comments. Thanks

No, you shouldnt have any problem bringing a digital camera through security.

    Huh?

You mean a compact flash or sd memory card when you say digital film, right?
They won't be affected by airport security screenings. I take my powerbook and digi cam through on a regular basis.

There should be no problems going through metal detectors and/or scans. I wouldn't worry about that at all actually.
