This has been happening since one of the early iOS 6 updates. Instead of the "Tweet" sound my iPhone uses the tri-tone sound for Twitter notifications. Despite "tweet (default)" being selected for "Tweets". Anyone else noticed this or have a fix?

Thanks!

The "tweet" sound is used for when you create a new tweet within iOS itself, i.e. if you tweet a photo from the photos app or created a tweet from the notification center.

The Twitter app, however, is completely independent from that sound setting, and the developers of the twitter app opted to use the original tri-tone sound. It can't be changed.
