I rented (from gamefly so I didn't spend $7 on this POC! ) True Crime: Streets of New York for my GC. It is the WORST game I have ever played on the GC. It lags when I run or get in a car and drive. Has anyone else played this game and had these problems?

I haven't played it fully but a mate of mine has the Xbox version which I found to be quite terrible.

Did it lag or was the game just bad? Personally I like the game, I just played it on a system that could not handle it.

does it lag on all systems or are you just saying that the whole game in general sucks?

True Crime: Streets of NY is, supposedly, horrible on all systems it was released for, regardless of the systems capabilites. It is a "disgrace" to video games, according to reviews, and a horrible sequel to a great game.

I've never played either of them, thats just what I've read.

what console was it made for? I know its out on all but don't developers usually pick one machine and then port to the rest?

IF you have the top of the line 360 (the one with the hard drive), yes it will.

It was built for the PS2 and then ported to the others.

Yeah. If you look around in TC: Streets of LA, you will see so may problems it is sick. You can drive through a metal fence AND trees but you can do through a wood fence? Most of the houses on the hills are sunk into the ground. And (according to the game) your car can rool over 1000000 times and all you suffers is a broken window and a door that won't close. True Crime games....the worst ever made?
