It is a nice video that you are gonna like and I want to see how fast it can be downloaded with Safari.

If you like off-road vehicles in the rain forest look at THIS.

    Very nice.

My Mac was muted when I listened to it, but overall it looked rough and different. Far better than those "polished," i.e. fake travel videos that travel agents seem to hand out now.

I especially like the effect at the end with the mountain/black outline/phrase.

Says I don't have the required plugin, but I've got the latest QT6. Oh well...

Doesn't work for me either. How come Apples own browser doesn't seem to support the Quicktime plugin?

Could be an issue with Sorenson 3, the codec used for this video.

Worked great in my Mozilla on my Work PC. Don't you have to install the plugin on each browser you get??? don't mater if you have it in IE or Mozilla or whatever... I belive that you have to install it in your new Safari Browser....

I still can't try it out...

No you don't there is one place in OSX for all browser plug-ins. Also Safari works on the Qucktime media at Apple.com. Seems to me it's an incompatibility with the version on this page. Yes it is a beta keep remembering this people. Everyone tends to forget this when using it because it is soooo goood.

In Safari it says that I don't have the right plugin to watch that QT movie.

Odd that the page says that it requires QT 4.0.

Apple's Movie Trailer site which requires 5.0+ works fine.

So, the problem is either specidfic to older QT content or this page. Either way it's worthy of a click on the Bug submission box.

How did the top 2 posters watch this video in Safari? I couldn't get it either. So other than the top 2 posters, no one can see this in Safari. Should I guss they weren't using Safari as the topic suggests?

    OK

I made the video and export it using Quick Time 6. The thing is that I used Soreson 3 compressor because a friend of mine has QT4, so that it why is QT 4 and over.

Good to know about compatibilities. I placed the link becasue it is the most simple example to test something.

Check out the other clips in the link below that one, those are good too. :)

Well being as Safari is X only, and there's no QT 4.0 for X, probably not.

    I wasn't using Safari. :p

I probably won't use it until it hits a final 1.0 version.

I'd use it if I could just to be able to help out on the tests and bug fixes...
