A link to one of the color options in question. First Impressions Sexy. The pleather doesn't smell horribly, and it looks really good up close. No missing or pulled stitching, which is always a pet peeve of mine. Shipped in a bubble envelope via Royal Mail, with no damage to the box whatsoever. It was marked as shipped on the 7th, arrived late yesterday (but I didn't get it until today due to campus mail systems), so I'd say shipping was pretty speedy. All clasps were working well, not difficult to open or reattach. Functionality and Aesthetics One of the reasons I chose this case (initially, the more expensive real leather one) was because it used a snap-clasp system for adjusting positions. I felt that this was the most secure non-magnet method of propping it up and using it on the go, as I plan to use my iPad for on the go editing of books and articles. This proved to be 100% correct; the clasp system is very secure, and doesn't allow the iPad to wiggle around at all. Theoretically, unfortunately--I'm going to pick up my iPad later today, and will have pictures tonight or so. The way the holding part of the case is set up works wonderfully; instead of having the opening on the narrow edges or at the spine, it opens on the outside. While this might open the iPad to more damage, it means the iPad cannot slip out while using either portrait or landscape modes. A clasp closes up the side. The back is a little unsightly due to the sturdy piece that forms the brace of the multi-view, but I honestly don't care too much about that. The front has openings for both the home button AND the ambient light sensor: score! The sides also allow for access to any and all of the buttons along the edges of the iPad. The cover folds back very comfortably; I have no doubt it will be even more elegant when I get the iPad and slip it in there. The case adds very little bulk to the iPad, for those thin-freaks out there, and what little bulk it does is beautiful. Summary All in all, I'm extremely pleased with my purchase. It's light, thin, beautiful to look at, and looks to be extremely durable and high quality. For $39.99, it's the cheaper alternative to the more expensive "real leather" Tuff-Luv case, but I think it's just as good if not better thanks to the cheaper price. I would recommend this case to anyone who's looking for good quality and protection, but doesn't want to pay a fortune or sacrifice functionality. MSRP: $39.99 Pictures tonight, I promise!
