Does the iPhone need to have WiFi enabled for MyWi to function? Normally my phone settings are 3G on/WiFi off. I never noticed this prior to a recent MyWi update that when I turn WiFi tethering on in MyWi the phone's WiFi is turned ON automatically. Conversely when I disable the WiFi this causes MyWi to turn off tethering. Is this normal:confused:

Wirelessly posted (iPhone 4 (32GB, JB): Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A306 Safari/6531.22.7)

I know that MyWi turns on wifi if it's off (kind of has to, doesn't it?) ... but I didn't know that turning off wifi would turn MyWi off too. Although it makes sense. This is good, though - it means I can use SBSettings to kill MyWi (since the MyWi people are either too lazy or too incompetent to make a toggle of their own). Thanks for the heads up!
