tv box please !!!

was wondering whether there are any products that will enable me to connect and watch my mac and tv and cable on my tft monitor while my mac is turned off

also a vcr connection would be nice !!!

Which Mac do you have?

I can watch cable TV on my powerbook via an eyeTV 200. It also has RCA jacks to enable me to hook it up to my VCR (haven't done it yet, VCR is on the other side of the room) at the same time. But I still need to have my PB powered up, but I can use it as a digital video recorder.

i was starting to think people where ignoring me !!!!

i like u also have a powerbook but was hopeing not to power it up to watch tv

can i watch cable on my tft monitor as well as see what i have on my powerbook ???


again i would like to use my vcr as normal on my tft rather than tv

You cant use your Powerbook's screen when its off. How can however use the solution mentioned above to watch TV in a window or fullscreen while its on.
