Hiya, I'm thinking of getting a TV module of some description for my mac (currently a 1.4ghz G4 mini, but will be upgrading to a core duo version some point in the next year). I was wondering if anyone has any particular suggestions/observations about what piece of hardware to buy that will do the job. I've got a 20" widescreen TFT that needs to be put to good use :)

I found this thing on apple's site, which looks the part, though it's quite expensive compared to some of the other options available:

Hardware encoding of video would clearly be a benift with the G4 mini, but would it be a step backwards with a core duo model?

    Thanks,

What about laptops? Do they have any wireless TV do-hickys for them?
