I'm pretty sure when it arrives, you will have a box and some documentation, all the info you need will be on that. You'll probably need to enter a serial online at the Apple website.

    Congratulations on the MacBook Pro!

    Hey there,

I recieved the macbook yesterday but did not recieve any additional packages with it, thats why i wondered whether it is automatic when purchasing them together.

Then it must be either on its way, or automatic.

I've not had to purchase Applecare, so i'm not 100%.

What about giving Apple a ring?

I would do but this is my fourth macbook as i have already returned 3, so they are probably sick of hearing from me.
