Either's good with me. I expect all iPods will become colour with photo capability however. Maybe even a more efficient design with longer battery life?

We'll know in under an hour though, hopefully!

Wonder if they've made 80GB 1.8" hard drives yet? They did make a slimline 40GB at some point didn't they? Or was that the 30GB that is currently in use?

My hopes are quite simple really, just a 2 button + scroll wheel (or better) mouse.

    I'd buy 2 or maybe even 3!

    size matters

I think there was talk of the 80gb drive, my thoughts are:

Photo 20/40/80 (no more 20gb monochrome screen)

The 20Gb is important because of the big jump from the ipod mini, incidently there was talk of 8gb mini's.

I doubt it. They're probably just changing the colour of the buttons on the website.

    waiting....................wondering....................wanting

Whilst waiting for ipods & contemplating size consider the Griffin iFill, an app that gives you free music on your ipod.

    check it here:

Thats just a matter of replacing pages. The store needs its backend database tested + checkout process.

....and the UK store is often the one of the first to go down and the last to go back up.

Thats not a bad update. In fact its quite significant - 20GB colour iPods for the same price as what they used to sell the normal 20GBs for.

Theres a lot of bitter people on here :) I suppose thats what happens when you build yourself up hoping for new hardware and the store goes down!

Its just really dissapointing because most people couldn't care less if there were new ipods out. It would have been interesting if there had been a video ipod released but most people on here really want an ibook update or a mac mini update. I haven't seen many 'ipod updates next tuesday' or 'when's the next ipod update due' threads in here after all.
