I just won an auction for a UMAX 6400 firewire scanner and just emailed UMAX and they said they don't support their hardware past os9 I did find software on Apple's download site called VueScan @http://www.hamrick.com/ but it costs fifty dollars does anyone know of a good cheap driver/software solution for umax scanners ?
The only reason I didn't go and get any USB scanner was because I've already got my printer,isub,mouse,keyboard, and zip drive all through a hub on my Snow iMac and I think it sucks anyway
