Unable to download from App Store?

Running 10.11 Beta (15A262e) iMac 2010 8GB 128gb External SSD - and i am unable to down load any of my previous purchases - Pages, Numbers, etc etc. App Store appears to download an item then comes up with error message - unable to install - An error has occurred?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I have now done a 'clean install' on the external 128GB SSD and still have the same problem - unable to install any previously purchased applications fro the App Store including Pages, Numbers etc etc.

Completely baffled!
