A co-worker and I have just noticed an interesting phenomenon.

When we to go to the h.264 gallery on Apple's website. When we go to a movie/trailer that has a 1080p version the link for the 1080p will show up on my PowerBook but not on Windows. I know I downloaded the 1080p trailer for Serenity and had it run on my Windows box at home but why no links for them when using Windows?

simple answer: Quicktime 7, which is required for HD playback, isn't available for Windows.

Actually, it is. It comes with iTunes 5.0 for Windows, and may also be available separately.

You were correct 2 days ago. Its been quiet because of all the hype of the nano, but it did get realised yesterday.

I do know that the 1080p movies when clicked launches Quicktime. Maybe the coding needs to be fixed as so the Windows version will open.

Have you tried another Window's computer?
