Uninstall Software

    Is there a way to uninstall a program in the Mac OS? I think I got a little carried away with the downloading :p

    Just delete it.

    that's all there is to do.

    :D

    yeah, there are some TINY .plist files, but they're each like 3k

    Ah, OS X is so much the easy. :)

    if the program comes with the Uninstall thing u can uninstall from there. or else..drag the program to the trash and its done..

    It really is, but some software does come with an uninstaller, if there are files all over the place.

    Aahahahaha! I love it!

    and yea-- if it did have an uninstaller, use it. Sorry about forgetting to mention, and thanks to people who did mention it. :eek:

    I actually just deleted something that came with an uninstaller... time to restore from trash! Eep!

    Hah, your avatar cracks me up. Good thing that app is still in the trash, at least!

    As a helpful hint, if you ever accidentally delete an application that had an uninstaller, just reinstall it, and then remove it properly. Beauty in simplicity!
