Does anyone know of an OS X app that will monitor the amount of data that is up/downloaded from/to my Mac? I'm just curious as to how much bandwidth I use getting MP3s etc...

You could try out netbarrier, or cybergauge

neither are free, but you can at least get them as demos first to try out.

Thanks britboy, but both of them are severe overkill for what I need and I'm not about to fork over $AU200 for either :)

I was thinking maybe a shareware app that does a similar thing?

tcpdump will do it, but I'm not sure how I can use that to keep track of all uploads and downloads.

Actually, I could probably do it, but if that's what it comes down to, I don't care about it that much...
