I've been a PC user for years and just got a MAC G4 with OS 10.1.2 on it.
I did all the upgrades so now I have 10.5
I have tried numerous times to upgrade to 10.2.3. The install goes fine but when it reboots I get an error in the top left corner. SOmething like sh.2-05#

Not sure if that's right but anyway Iwas told that is a hard drive error. I ran the disk utility and found no errors. I have reformatted the drive and tried again. THe 10.5 runs fine with noeros or problems. Why am Igetting this error and lockup when I upgrade?
I need t oupgrade so I can run certain apps.
Thanx in advance!

Do you mean 10.1.5? I think you need to do a full upgrade to 10.2 before you can go 10.2.3

Rather than looking for 10.2 just buy a copy of 10.3 and get the upgrades to 10.3.5
