URGENT HELP - Microsoft PRoject

    Does anyone know how to open a Microsoft Project file on the Mac. I need to know asap. Thanks everyone.

    what is the file extension and what app does it use to open on windows ?

    The only way I know of is to install VirtualPC with a versions of Windows and Microsoft Project. There may be Mac Project-type apps that understand MS Project files, but I'm sure they would be a commercial offering.

    Er.. as he stated, the it was Microsoft Project. THat's the name of the application.


    Richard, I believe the only thing that will open it on a Mac is AEC's FastTrack. You can download a demo of it at http://www.aecsoft.com/

    You can also use Steelray Project Viewer - this allows you to view & print project files but not edit them - I use this all the time.
