Has anyone successfully added USB 2.0 to a G4 Powermac? I added an Adaptec USB2.0/Firewire card but it caused problems when the computer went to sleep. Is there another brand of USB card that has worked? Any suggestions?
    Thanks for you help.

Sleep problems with 3rd-party cards have been supposedly repaired with Tiger... there's been a couple of people reporting this.

Try doing a forum search for 'sleep'.

I have a Belkin 3-port Firewire PCI Card in my G4 Tower.

It caused the computer to be unable to sleep when I installed it.

    After installing Tiger, it sleeps.

I was going to buy an Adaptec card at Best buy the other day (USB 2.0), but after my experiences, I will get a Belkin from the Apple Store.

I'd suggest you do the same, or go visit www.xlr8yourmac.com to see if there are any new compatability reports.

    Cheers. :)
