USB/iPod not ejecting

Recently any removable drive has not been ejecting unless i open up disk utility and unmount or eject it through there. I am not even getting the option to eject the drive when i control click it on the desktop, that i think i had before.

Any suggestions or tips would be helpful.

Believe it or not, but i had the same problem. hold the Menu and Select (center) button together when you turn it on it will reset it. You wont loose any info on it. Then mine started working again. Also reboot the Computer.

Sometimes it gets a lil fidgidy.
