Hi, I'm looking into getting a 2013 MBA and wanted to find out if windows 7 on bootcamp + a USB windows based keyboard would let the Air function exactly like a windows machine does on Excel 2013. This is primarily for excel shortcuts as its just a lot easier to use a windows key configuration. If it works a hundred percent (ie. all shortcuts/windows specific keys work) that would be ideal. Also if it does in fact work fully through bootcamp, would this also hold true if I were to use VMware/Parallels?

    Thanks.

I believe that is correct - as long as you run Excel on Bootcamp (or Parallels) and are using a Windows version of Microsoft Office, you shouldn't have trouble with the keyboard. All shortcuts should work just as if you were using a Windows machine.
    Hope that helps!
