I currently use some Bose Companion 5 speakers on my Mac Pro and connected via use USB.
It seems when I'm watching a movie on Netflix, and syncing my iPad or backing up files to an external USB drive, the audio OS X subsystem just craps out.
I've tried switching to different audio outputs, and they all stopped working at the same time.
I have the USB speakers on the Mac's built-in USB bus, and all other devices on a USB 3.0 card.
Only a reboot seems to cure the issue. I've even tried restarting the coreaudio daemon to no avail.
Anyone else run into an issue like this?
