Hey together, I just found my old 1.42Ghz G4 Mac Mini. It was still okay, the chime came directly after I pressed the power button. Works great so far. I saw that 10.3.7 is installed, now I want to install Leopard on it. Is there any hack to get Snow Leopard running? (I don't think so, since SL requires Intel). Where can I get Leopard? I don't wanna use a crack. What I want to do is to connect it with an Ethernet cable to my Mac Pro and just have it as a secondary machine. Is it possible to let it access my HDDs? Thanks for the help! It is funny to see OS X Panther again while using ML on a high end Mac Pro... incredibly how fast that stuff developed! Edit: A neighbour just gave me a 2TB HDD with a copy of the Leopard install disk on it. I plugged it into the Mac Mini but it doesen't show up. I fired up the Disk Utitlity, where it appears in the sidebars as unmounted and I can't get it activated. Somebody able to help? On the MP it mounts perfectly fine.
