hi everyone, i am being forced to use a friend's pc laptop for a pc-only program for work. is there anyway I can hook it up with my 17" powerbook to use my mac as a display? my friend's pc (samsung v30) has a dead line in its display.

I know it might sound stupid but you could use Remote Desktop. Assuming it's an XP Machine (might have to be Pro?) turn on remote desktop. Microsoft has a Remote Desktop client for Mac/Linux, just download it and connect to the Windows machine. I do this for work all the time, but I'm mainly connecting to headless server machines or one I'm just too lazy to walk 6 feet to. Works great for me.
