So i'm using the UT demo on a 1.67 powerbook, (2gb Ram). and i'm playing on a server. Granted i'm not the best player, but i find it really hard to control. lets just say i feel that i'm lacking in the control department. I'm using an apple mighty mouse and a keyboard.

I was wondering what the best mouse to use with this sort of game would be. any recommendation.s

oh and my connection is wireless, does that make a significant difference

i use a microsoft optical mouse(about $20) for gaming. Which includes UT2k4. Any mouse with a scroll wheel, and three buttons (scroll wheel counts as one) will work. Make sure its optical. Go to a local store and test a few out.

The exact mouse that I used on my former PeeCee when I played UT2004- it worked like a charm, highly recommended! :)

i have the blue logitech mx 518 mouse. it's very very good. if wireless, then the Logitech® G7 Laser Cordless Mouse, Logitech® MX™1000 Laser Cordless Mouse, Logitech® V500 Cordless Notebook Mouse, or the Logitech MX™ 610 Laser Cordless Mouse. i'm looking foward to buying this for my ibook g4:Logitech® V400 Laser Cordless Notebook Mouse.

I'm not very good at this game, but part of my problem before was not being able to turn quickly enough. I got a logitech corded 800dpi mouse (mx310). Being left-handed, I can't use any of the higher-resolution gaming mouses (arrogant righties! ) but 800dpi is the same resolution as the MX1000. Basically, you want a high-resolution mouse. It's not enough to simply change the speed in the preferences.
