When I go to update an app, after entering my password I get a popup that says Tapping continue takes me to a page titled: Edit Account Information where it shows my name and billing address. It then says I haven't made any changes to my billing method, and don't want to, therefor I don't understand why I'm getting this message. In the meantime, my appstore icon shows 6 updates, and I can't get any of them. Deleting the app and redownloading it seems to stop it from showing that I need to download an update. Is there any fix for this that doesn't require me to redownload all the apps that come up for an update? Thanks for any advice you guys can offer. Some quick background: Since i bought it, I hadn't been able to sync my iphone with my pc because it said it wasn't authorized, although it most certainly was. So then the other day a new version of itunes came out, I downloaded it and completed a successful sync. One other detail: I have an alternate itunes account, Canadian for when games are released to canada first. But i've only ever gotten two apps this way, and I've never had an issue before. Trying to update the offending apps through that account doesn't work.
