Sorry if this is an inappropriate thread,

I downloaded the msn messenger for mac to have video chat with my friends by using the isight on my macbook. However I can't find any option on messenger to use isight. Do I have to use another program to have videochat or should I download any plug-in or whatever to use my isight?

Yeah, sadly, you have to use a third party messenger client (assuming you're in MacOS -- if you're in Windows, right now, no support for iSight, AFAIK).

    Two options:

    aMSN - http://amsn.sourceforge.net/
    Mercury Messenger - http://www.mercury.to/

Otherwise, get them to get AIM....
